AZL Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 1st , 2011 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Peter Mooney was rewarded with the Arizona League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy AZL Cardinals shortstop hit .545 while collecting 12 hits in 22 at-bats, no home runs and 5 RBIs. Thus far this year, Mooney is hitting .321 with 3 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
