Year Over for Cardinals Andrews Wednesday, August 15th , 2012 The news is bad in AZL. The Cardinals have lost the services of starting pitcher Joe Andrews for the rest of the season due to a stretched elbow ligament. Andrews was injured in a recent game with the AZL Mounties while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 11 months. Andrews has gone 1-4 this season with an ERA of 4.33 and 39 strikeouts in 43.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .234 against him. |
