Everett Wins Top Spot in Northwest League West Tuesday, September 7th , 2010 Everett AquaSox manager Greg Wilson said it was a "battle all season long" for his club to win the Northwest League West. But they've done exactly that, today edging out their division rivals to take the top spot. "It was down to the wire, so it makes it even more special," he said. "Our guys grinded all year and this is the end result." The club has a 45-25 record to top the division for the 6th time and will now be searching for a 2nd championship. "We may not have won the division by a wide margin, but I don't think anyone in our clubhouse ever doubted we'd do it," said starting pitcher Erik Cordier. |
