"I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Potomac Cannons right-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid." Rodriguez notched 5 strikeouts, surrendered 2 walks, allowed 4 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
