Quad Cities Narrowly Wins Midwest League West Wednesday, September 19th , 2012 The Quad Cities Swing are heading to the postseason, with a narrowly-won Midwest League West championship on their resume. "Nobody made it easy for us, but we kept pushing forward until we got it done," said reliever Greg Holland. "We're battle-tested and ready for the playoffs now." The club's record sits at 86-55 and it is their 1st division title. The team will now be seeking its 1st Midwest League championship. |
