Hickory Won't Make Playoffs Sunday, September 2nd , 2012 It's all about playing for pride now. The playoff hopes of the Hickory Crawdads were officially and mathematically vanquished today. The Crawdads have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 21 years as a South Atlantic League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2006. In the last 10 seasons, the Crawdads have only made the playoffs once. |
