Scottsdale Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 20th , 2013 The Scottsdale Fighting Artichokes didn't have what it took to make a postseason run this year. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Fighting Artichokes have made the playoffs 6 times in their 14 years as a Texas League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2011. Scottsdale last won the Round 1 in 2011. |
