Wichita Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Tuesday, September 1st , 2009 It's back to the drawing board for the Wichita Wranglers. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Wranglers have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 16 years as a Texas League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2007. In the last 10 seasons, the Wranglers have only made the playoffs once. |
