Danks Bashes 5 Base Hits Friday, June 28th , 2013 It was a big day for Jordan Danks and he brought the Scottsdale Fighting Artichokes along for the ride. Danks led his club to victory, 15-8, over the Frisco RoughRiders at Ballpark of Scottsdale, smoking Frisco pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 26-year-old left fielder later called the victory "sweet." Jordan Danks tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Eduard Santos in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Jeremy Bleich in the 7th. Hitting .326 to date, Danks has 10 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has played in 44 games. View Boxscore |
