Fisher Cats Move on to Round 2
The Round 2 hopes remain strong for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

The team tonight eliminated the Bowie BaySox with a 3-2 win, to capture the Round 1 4-2.

"We're rolling now," said Guillermo Vidal, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the Round 2."

The standout offensive performance from Vidal included a .385 batting average, .448 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 6 RBI and 3 runs scored.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Akron Aeros - Portland Sea Dogs series. Akron leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
