Orellana on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Santurce

It was a sensational day at the plate for Dave Orellana as he led the charge to a nifty 13-3 win over the Cangrejeros. The Caguas center fielder was pure misery for the Santurce pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Orellana put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Franklin Martinez, manager for the Cangrejeros, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Dave Orellana hit a two-run triple in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
Currently Orellana is batting .252 with 39 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 21 runs and scored 25 times.
