The Houston Astros topped the Tampa Bay Rays, 5-4, in American League action at Tampa Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Houston pitcher and Orange, California, native Shane Bieber. Cam Caminiti snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Andinson Truesdale suffered the loss. Houston, with the win, sits at 25-58.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Jesus Bosquez came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Tampa Bay pitcher Andinson Truesdale, he hit a 0-1 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Houston on top, 5-4.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Bieber told the Houston Times.
