Phoenix Comes up Empty Against Pineda Friday, April 24th , 1981 Antonio Pineda blitzed the Phoenix Firebirds at San Francisco Grounds today, pitching the San Francisco Warriors to victory, 5-0. Pineda needed 9 innings to shut out the Firebirds, striking out 7. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said San Francisco manager Tyler Trowbridge.
