Robbie Kendall brought his A-game to help San Diego defeat the Dallas Rustlers, 3-1. San Diego goes to 14-18.

San Diego got a knockout punch from Victor Ruiz. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

San Diego manager Jesse Wade commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
