Rosado Helps Rustlers Beat Warriors, 5-3
|
Led by Alejandro Rosado, the Dallas Rustlers downed the San Francisco Warriors, 5-3. Rosado went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Rustlers. Anton Garay earned the win for Dallas. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 5-0. Vinny Gonzalez collected his 4th save.
Dallas took a 5-2 lead on Rosado's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Ryan Harvey in the top of the seventh, propelled Dallas to the win.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Rosado.
Dallas, now 18-11, has played well in the early going.
