The Los Angeles Cobras beat the San Diego Seraphs by a score of 7-6. Los Angeles third baseman Orlando Greeley deserved the lion's share of the credit. Greeley was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Cobras. The loss puts San Diego at 9-16.

Ramon Reyes drove in one run for Los Angeles. The 26-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Victor Hernandez. It was his 10th RBI of the season.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Reyes told the Los Angeles Daily News.
