The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Houston Mavericks picked up a win at Houston Stadium, knocking off the Cincinnati Cougars, 4-3. On the mound for Houston was right-hander Scott Szell, who played a pivotal role in the win. The loss drops the Cougars to 6-9.

Andres Arenas was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mavericks right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Szell said after the game.
