Tampa Bay and San Diego duked it out and the Storm came out victorious.

The Tampa Bay Storm downed the San Diego Seraphs, 8-5, at Seraphs Field. Cory Lynn led the way, going 4-for-5 for Tampa Bay. Luis Carrera closed it out for his 2nd save.

Lynn contributed in the top of the fourth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Tampa Bay get the win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Lynn told the Tampa Bay Gazette.

Tampa Bay is now 4-7.
