The manager of the Madison Heights White Wings said he thinks Jerry Malec is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the catcher's 2019 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .345 batting average and a .439 on-base percentage this year. In 58 games he piled up 67 hits, 15 doubles, no triples, 21 home runs, 50 RBIs and 49 runs scored.
