Flores Sends Baton Rouge Bats to Deep Freeze Tuesday, May 10th , 2022 Alex Flores had an impressive outing at Ballpark of Mobile, hurling the Mobile Monarchs to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Baton Rouge Tsunami. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Baton Rouge skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Flores yielded 3 hits and tallied 9 strikeouts with 1 walk. In 6 starts this season, Flores has compiled a 1-1 record and a 2.63 ERA. |
