Injury Shuts Down Gonzales for Season Wednesday, August 28th , 2019 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Brooklyn's Lesli Gonzales to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/24/2019 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Gonzales said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Gonzales has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. Gonzales's record up to now is 5-and-2 with no saves and a 6.48 ERA. He has given up 88 hits in 76.1 innings with 79 strikeouts. |
