Injury Sidelines Simms for Season Thursday, September 19th , 2019 Team officials for the Brownsville Cannoneers confirmed that a torn ulnar collateral ligament will force Paul Simms to miss the rest of the season. Simms sustained the injury on 09/16/2019. It remains to be seen who will replace Simms on the active roster. This season Simms has crafted a 5-14 mark with a 5.58 ERA in 156.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .276 against him and he has 163 strikeouts. |
