Wheat Kings Win Wildcard Series
The Brockwell Wheat Kings outclassed the Plano Champions in all facets of the game throughout the SL2 Wildcard Series.

The end result was a Brockwell series sweep to advance to the Division Series, capped off by a 2-1 win in the final game.

"We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said left fielder Tim Galarza, who hit .250 in the series.

Galarza's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .333 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Brockwell Wheat Kings will play against the DeCordova Silverbacks in the next round. DeCordova had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
