In a low-scoring affair between the Fresno Steelhawks and the Idaho Potatoes, pitcher Donovan Bautista was the difference between victory and defeat. The Fresno right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Steelhawks win. The victory gives Fresno a record of 32-31.

Steve Hall had a big run-scoring double for the Steelhawks in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Fresno leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Eric DeRosier, who is tied for 4th in the AL with a 9.9 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Steelhawks ahead, 2-0.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Hall.
