Horsemen Absorb 7-5 Loss at Rogers Centre

Massachusetts and Omaha duked it out and the Mothmen came out victorious.
The Massachusetts Mothmen beat the Omaha Horsemen, 7-5, at Rogers Centre. The Mothmen got a fine performance from shortstop Francisco Tovar, who went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Sean Nygren, credited with the save, is now 4 for 9 in save opportunities.
Willie Santellan, who is on pace for 105 RBI this season, chipped in a 2-run home run for Massachusetts in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Santellan.
The win for the Mothmen lifted their record to 35-27.
