Rivera Helps Austin Cruise to 11-3 Win
Austin third baseman Jim Rivera had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the River City Pirates, 11-3. The win belonged to Jason Coffey in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Alex Sandoval took the loss for River City. Austin has run its win streak to 4 straight.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Rivera delivered big-time for Austin, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Alex Sandoval. The game-changing hit put the Wreckers on top, 5-3.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Rivera told the Austin Daily News.
