The Idaho Potatoes defeated the Oklahoma City Naturals, 7-3, at Naturals Ballpark. Idaho shortstop Chad Wallace had a superb performance. He was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jim Becker earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. The victory makes Idaho 11-12.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Nate Blalock? The Idaho second baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Potatoes on top, 4-3. For the game, Blalock had 1 double and 3 singles in 6 at-bats.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Potatoes manager Willard Dookie.
