River City turned a good effort from starter Gabe Robles into a win over the Oklahoma City Naturals at Mountiesdome. The final score was 5-2. Robles got the win, improving to 13-7. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs.

Bob Timmons hit a bases-clearing double off Mike Butler in the bottom of the third, which put the Pirates in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Timmons had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
