Bass fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

Milwaukee pitcher Alfredo Avila had a large part in his team beating the Idaho Potatoes, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The victory gives Milwaukee a record of 76-73.

The decisive blow was delivered by Éric Ortega in the bottom of the 17th when he hit a solo home run off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Bob Beckstead to win the game for Milwaukee. The home crowd went nuts.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Ortega. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
