Austin first baseman David Pamatz was sensational. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Idaho beat the Wreckers, 5-4. Idaho reliever Aaron Best was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Eric Edge took the loss. Dave McClellan recorded the save, making him 34 for 37.

John Aronson aided the Idaho cause with a solo home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3 with a home run.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Aronson told the Idaho Gazette.

Idaho currently is in 4th place in the American League AL East at 67-80.
