Albuquerque pitcher Eric Dolan had a large part in his team subduing the Texas Jets, 2-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Dan DuBois got the save, his 31st in 35 chances. With the victory, the Tigercats upped their record to 80-54.
Johnny Brittain, who led the NL in wins above replacement with 9.5 in 2019, had a direct impact on the outcome. Brittain contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the third inning to put Albuquerque up, 2-0.
