Ironmen Collect 10-7 Win Over Alouettes
The performance of Joe Maher proved critical in helping Charlotte beat Philadelphia, 10-7. The Ironmen designated hitter belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Charlotte reliever Mike Allen got the win, raising his record to 5-3. David Camacho was tagged with the loss. The Alouettes, now 71-56, have lost 6 straight.

A.J. Barrett came through with a big-time hit for Charlotte. The left fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 10-7. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Barrett.
