|
Pitmasters second baseman Don Pulsifer left his mark on his team's 7-4 win over the River City Pirates. Pulsifer, who is rated as the 78th best prospect by BNN, went 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for San Antonio in the contest. The Pitmasters raised their record to 47-74.
With San Antonio leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Pulsifer hit a fastball from Sam St. Pierre for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Pitmasters ahead, 6-2.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Pulsifer. "More importantly, I had a good game."
