Aronson Hits 2 home runs in Potatoes Win
Behind a fine performance from John Aronson, the Idaho Potatoes knocked off the Virginia Beach Bulldogs, 5-2. Aronson went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Potatoes. Brian Velasquez got credit for the win, improving to 5-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. Idaho has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

Aronson had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Ken Hernandez, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Potatoes a 5-2 lead. It was the 24th home run of the year for Aronson.

"We did enough to win," said Aronson.
