Cannoneers Prevail, 3-1, Over Massachusetts
|
Bobby Markel pitched a gem to lead Brownsville to victory over the Massachusetts Mothmen, 3-1. Brownsville pitcher John Robinson got the win, upping his record to 3-2. Carson McMillian got the loss. Greg Ice recorded the save for Brownsville, his 28th of the season.
Andy Neuman had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Brownsville. He came through with a 2-run single to put Brownsville in front, 2-1.
"No time for flexing," said Neuman. "It's always one game at a time."
The Cannoneers have now reeled off 7 straight wins.
