Massachusetts turned a good effort from starter Chad Cocco into a win over the Sacramento Wolf Pack at Sacramento Stadium. The final score was 7-2. The last-place Mothmen sport a record of 45-54.
Morten Maj was 1-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times for Massachusetts. The 27-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Chris Ragus. It was his 15th walk of the season.
"Enjoyed this one," Maj told the Massachusetts Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
