The Sacramento Wolf Pack defeated the Massachusetts Mothmen by the score of 9-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman David Wiggins. Wiggins went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Wolf Pack on the day. The last-place Wolf Pack now have a record of 45-52.

With Sacramento trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the first, Wiggins hit a sinker from Jonathan Searfoss for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Wolf Pack ahead, 4-2.
