Bobcats Advance to League Championship Series
After their 6-5 win today at Bobcats Park over the Charlotte Ironmen, the El Paso Bobcats will advance to the League Championship Series. El Paso won the series by a 4-1 margin.

Leading the way for the Bobcats was third baseman Francisco Anguiano, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The El Paso Bobcats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Virginia Beach Bulldogs - Oakland Gales series. Oakland leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
