The Charlotte Ironmen got a strong game from starter Aaron Woodin, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Ironmen took the 3-2 win over the El Paso Bobcats in Game 4 of the Division Series in a 11th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Woodin. Woodin threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball in the win, which allowed the Ironmen to narrow their deficit to 1-3 in the best-of-7 series.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Charlotte designated hitter Joe Maher, facing Alex Escobar, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Ironmen the 3-2 win.

"Exciting game to play in," said Maher. "Getting the win makes it even better."

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 20th , 2022 at Bobcats Park in El Paso.
