Merlins Heading to League Championship Series Sunday, September 21st , 2042 The Fort Collins Merlins are moving on to the League Championship Series after eliminating the Fort Worth Cowboys in the Division Series. Fort Collins won the final game by a 5-0 count at Merlins Ballpark and the series 3-1. Danny Wlodkowski was key to the Merlins win, as he was named series MVP, thanks in large part due to his 0.00 ERA over 8.1 innings. He also added 5 strikeouts with a 1-0 record. "Onwards and upwards," the MVP said. "I'm just focusing on my next time on the mound now." The Fort Collins Merlins will play against the Norman Tornadoes in the next round. Norman won their series against the Eugene Buckers 3 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
